Dear Jesus. Thank you for dragons. Thank you for pretzels. Thank you for mommy. Thank you for daddy. Thank you for M. Thank you for Thomas and Percy. Thank you for ice-cream. Help Z sleep sweet. Help Jesus sleep sweet. Amen. Oh! Thank you for Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. Amen.

That is so sweet. Our youth group kids read a play the other day where the 'president' (God) wants people to come and talk with him, but all anybody does is complain or beg for stuff. Finally, a little girl comes, just to say hi. Z's prayer reminds me of that.
(Are you sad that dragons got top billing?)
Not too sad:) I remember when your daughter thanked Jesus for lions...
And when Mom was worse than sharks... just a dad note though- Z always thanks Jesus for Mommy first thing when he prays with him.
but was that Lions, or ryan her friend, or ryan her fish??? or do I have the wrong daughter?? I am getting older now ;)
I don't remember a daughter thanking Jesus for lions, but I do remember being worse than sharks. And I remember Ryan swimming in a bowl (Ryan her fish, not Ryan her friend).
I remember...She said "thank you for rions" and you asked if she wanted to say thank you for Lucas and she got all disgusted with you and said it louder, like you weren't stupid, just deaf. And when you figured out what she was saying you asked her if she wanted to say thank you for giraffes and she rolled her eyes at you and said, "no. Amen." I was a witness to the whole thing and, since I didn't have children yet, I had plenty of room in my head for cute kid stories:) I miss your girls so much!!!!!
