Ode To Ice-Cream...

A Haiku by AJ...

Num Num Da Da Num
Mine Num Num Da Da Num Num
Num Num Da Da Mine.

(Chris wasn't doing a very good job sharing his ice-cream cone and AJ was forced to resort to poetry...)

that is absolutely beautiful. never have i found poetry to be so relate-to-able.

mel used to climb all over us, going back and forth from one person to another, to get ice cream. i think she'd always end up with more than any of the rest of us.

for the record, she hasn't done that in about 27 years.

I take exception to one point-- she ate more of that then I did... ;)

AJ will beg for anything that even resembles ice-cream or whipped cream--sour cream, cream cheese, mayonaise, playdough, ect. Plus if she sees anyone (including strangers) with an ice-cream cone she points, shouts "num-num!!!" and then opens her mouth. Then she yells when they don't offer her a bite. We think it may be an actual addiction. :)

Chris--You're right. I shouldn't have said you weren't sharing, I should have said you weren't sharing fast enough! (Which is because you are a good daddy who doesn't want his princess to have an ice-cream headache.)
