Bargain Clothes...

I watched this video talking about how celebrities are wearing "budget friendly" clothes these days. They showed different outfits and pictures of the celebrities wearing them and then told you where you could order them. Some of them were, indeed, bargains. However, I have never, never paid "only $32.00" for a t-shirt. I mean, it was striped, but $32.00??? Is it just me or is that really expensive? Maybe its just me...

I'm sure I've paid that much for a shirt before, but I would definitely not call it a bargain. Good quality for $12.99? Sure - THAT's a bargain. But not $32.

It's just you. Just kidding. ;) I agree. I remember thinking that when watching Oprah's budget-friendly/"real women" fashion shows too. "Affordable" stores included J. Crew (so not affordable! I think I've talked about this before!;), Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, etc. Yes, they're brands we've heard of and they're not mentioned in 'The Devil Wears Prada,' but that does not mean "real women" can afford them. Try Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Old Navy, Plato's Closet. That's more realistic and budget-friendly. :)

No it isn't just you. That is like three or four shirts at Wal-Mart and about six shirts at Savers. Three shirts and a bit of change from Land's End.

Ok I will stop now.

FYI: Celebs get a lot of thier clothes for free from designers.

Which makes perfect sense since they obviously can't afford them.
