I Miss You...
I was thinking today what powerful words those are. I mean, in essence what I am saying when I use that phrase is that you are such a significant part of life that it affects me when you aren't around. It brings about a strong emotion that reminds me of how important you are to me. I don't think I will ever use that phrase lightly again, because truly missing someone is a very potent feeling.

And I won't take it lightly when you do say it. You are right, though, it is a profoundly meaningful phrase we use at the drop of a hat.
"I'm sorry" too -- I'm definitely guilty of over-using that one!
I taught my children to say, "Please forgive me for (fill in the blank)." I just feel like I'm sorry expresses sympathy while actually asking for forgiveness expresses true regret for whatever you've done.
