Speaking of My Soft-Spokeness...
One time Chris and I were at a party and the host asked each couple to go around and introduce themselves. He said that the quieter of the two should do the talking and the other member of the couple should keep their mouths shut. Then everyone looked at me like, you know she's gonna talk. It was embarrassing. And, yes, I'm pretty sure when our turn came around I did say a little something, but come on, everyone was obviously looking forward to hearing from me:D

I love your confidence. :D ...so Chris is the quieter one then?
Same here! I am always the one to talk (and then I get critical of how Josh never talks without realizing that I never give him the chance!)
I can relate to that Kim. I sometimes get frustrated at Chris for not having an opinion and then realize I didn't give him a chance to state it yet:)
In Busy's defense- that party was all of our old youth group friends ;)
enrique never talks either - i never thought about it being my fault. he just spends more time thinking than i do.
Josh doesn't usually want to do a lot of talking so that doesn't help the situation, but it's hard to find a balance, especially when I start wondering about all that spiritual leadership stuff and the vastly different ideas that people have about that.
I'm the opposite... I can talk a lot (I'm an SLP after all!;), but I tend not to as much in big groups or new situations -- Bob takes over then (he's such a good guy!) :D
totally depends on the situation for me. while i'm shy and quiet to the point that people think i'm snooty, i can also not shut up for hours at a time
*GASP* So THAT's where Bob's been lately! He's been cheating on us, Chelle! He's about 50/50 for me though. Talking, i mean.
No, I WON'T believe it... it's gotta be a different Bob... my Bob would NEVER do that! ;)
Bob is so lucky to have two of you fighting over him:D
