poor deprived child. he can come here and use it (but i won't take him out in the snow. i try to avoid the outdoors between november and april. but i'm thankful for my fireplace)
if you had stairs, i'd be worried. my sister-in-law's family got really drunk one Christmas (not my idea of holiday fun, but whatever) and rode sleds down her (indoor) stairs
sleds indoors sounds totally like Josh's family! We're in the middle of another snowstorm- you guys could come out here and have lots of fun on a sled! Josh loves being outside so I'm sure he could handle all the kids and we could stay warm. Our neighbour's kids are coming from California so you could commiserate with them!

I'm thinking maybe he needs a sled and a plane ticket to Auntie Hobbitsister's and since he's too young to fly alone... :D

I miss you:( But I like knowing that our friendship is stronger than the distance between us. (How poetic was that!!!)
