Skeletons...

Z: Skeletons are bones of dead people.
M: Wouldn't it be cool if there were live skeletons?
Chris: There are. We just call them people.

Sneaky Girl...

This morning Z came into my room right after I'd finished feeding AJ, who was asleep beside me. He looked down at her and said, very seriously, "Mommy? Did you know AJ snuck into your bed last night?" Totally cracked me up:)

Takes Some Getting Used To...

Me: Z, go up and put this in your sister's bed.
Z: I don't have a sister.
Me: You do now.
Z: Oh, right. AJ is a girl. I forgot.

Hmmmm...

Me: I wonder why God gave babies such sharp fingernails.
M: So they can protect themselves from predators.

Dead Presidents...

We had a plumbing problem (don't ask) and had Benjamin Franklin Plumbing out to the house to take care of it. Today they called to check on how our service was. M answered the phone and handed it to Chris telling him Benjamin Franklin was on the phone. As Chris took the call I heard M exclaim, "Cool! I thought he was dead!"

It's A Girl...

AJ was born on September 28th at 5:24pm. She weighed 6 lbs 7 oz and was 19 inches long. She has a whole head full of dark hair, more than her brothers had at a year old if you combined them:) And I have already spent $50.00 in newborn clothes, shoes and accessories because I didn't want her to look like a boy until after I had the baby shower. If M is not holding her he is asking to and Z has counted her fingers and toes at least 10 times a day. They are both wonderful brothers and she has managed to wrap all the men in this house around her tiny little finger. I'll get some pictures posted to my facebook page as soon as I have a chance.
